The Global Climate Action Summit will bring leaders and people together from around the world to “Take Ambition to the Next Level.” It will be a moment to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of states, regions, cities, companies, investors and citizens with respect to climate action. It will also be a launchpad for deeper worldwide commitments and accelerated action from countries—supported by all sectors of society—that can put the globe on track to prevent dangerous climate change and realize the historic Paris Agreement.

On September 13-14, leaders will convene at the Water Pavilion to share knowledge and inspire action on water and climate change. The climate is changing. Rising sea levels, more extreme storms, and increased drought risk, are impacting people now. Better management of water resources can help reduce climate change risks and adapt to its impacts. The Water Pavilion, a two-day event at the Global Climate Action Summit, will bring together leaders from governments, civil society, businesses, and academia. Through panels, workshops, and a tech exposition, participants will share knowledge about the water-climate connection, explore pathways for solutions, and inspire more ambitious commitments. Read more about the Water Pavillion here.

On September 12, the day prior to The Water Pavilion, join Resilient by Design, Consulate General of the Netherlands, the Governor's Office of Planning and Research, WaterNow Alliance, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the All Bay Collective for a pre Water Pavilion event: A California Case Study.
